Hamm
		My hometown is only 40 miles away from Dortmund and has nearly 200 000 citizens. It is a city on the north east border of the "Ruhrgebiet". Mining is the root of this town. Poor "old" Hamm, second world war don´t left much back to "new" Hamm. It´s very ugly, because all buildings are only usfull, barely no esthetical stimulus. One and only exception is the Glaselefant, who was remodeled on the area of the ancient mining corporation "Maximilian". The Landesgartenschau 1984 was the reason why this old mining tower has been altered. Near this area I spend the time of my youth. It was a real wilderness and played cowboy and indians there.
